Another $85 in donations yesterday led to another project being fully funded.
Is It Ok To Make Mistakes? was for a set of dry erase boards for a preK – 2nd grade class. As the teacher wrote:
The dry erase boards will help students not only with the math series we are using but will be able to use them in phonics too. A quick erase will help students feel like it is OK to make a mistake and learn from them.
20 more kids we’re helping. Thanks! This makes it all worth it!
4 great projects left on my list:
-It’s Time to Learn about Current Events — open their eyes to the amazing world we live in!
My students need 26 subscriptions to “Time for Kids” and 22 books about how the US government was created and how it functions today. They also need 26 file folders and 2 boxes of highlighters.
-Integrating Science and Children’s Literature (The Stars) — remember looking up at the stars with wonder?
My students need 15 copies of “Stargazers” by Gail Gibbons. Just $139 bucks needed!
-Just Beat It Part 3 — for those music lovers out there!
My students need 12 more music stands so that everyone will be able to see the music when playing together as a group.
-Venture Into Vocabulary — could you imagine not having index cards to learn vocabulary?
My students need 108 packs of 100 colored index cards, 30 index card file boxes, and 30 sets of alphabetical index guides.
My ’stache is a bit itchy today…hopefully that’s a good sign! Please consider donating $5 today.
